Terms of Service
Welcome to Squidmar Miniatures! By accessing or using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Squidmar Miniatures is run by EmilNyström Media AB, Fatvägen 10d, 90620 Umeå, Sweden, VAT: SE556971005501. If you have any questions or concerns about these Terms of Service, please contact us at sales@squidmar.com.
1. Orders and Payments
1.1. By placing an order with us, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your order.
1.2. Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept Stripe and PayPal.
1.3 Make sure you place your order with the correct website, squidmar-usa.com for USA orders, squidmar.com for all other orders. It is impossible to choose delivery to USA on squidmar.com and outside USA on squidmar-usa.com, so if you manage to place an order you are on the right website.
2. Shipping
2.1. Shipping times may vary and are subject to carrier availability. All orders from this website are shipped from Meeples BV in The Netherlands (for USA orders see squidmar-usa.com). Orders are usually shipped within 2 weekdays, but may take up to 5 days to reduce shipping costs and collect orders in groups for handling VAT properly.
2.2. Shipping fees are calculated at checkout. For all applicable countries VAT will be collected during checkout according to the rules of each country, see below.
2.3. Each country has different rules and regulations on import fees and tariffs. We recommend researching the specific rules for your country for making an import. You (the buyer) are responsible for import fees and tariffs. For all countries not listed here with specific rules, you will most likely be charged VAT and an extra fee when your orders arrives to your country.
2.4 We are a Swedish company, registered for EU OSS VAT collection. This means all EU orders will have VAT collected during checkout, you will not pay VAT or import fees on the order.
2.5 We are registered for collecting Australian GST, and all orders up to the limit of AUD1000 (about €560) will have GST added. Currently all Australian orders will have GST collected during checkout due to no current technical way to place a limit. If your order is above the limit you will be manually refunded your GST payment at our next scheduled processing, and you will have to pay GST plus the extra fees yourself on import. To speed up your GST refund processing you may send an email to sales@squidmar.com with your order number.
2.6 We are registered for Norwegian VOEC, therefore collecting Norwegian VAT. All products we sell cost less than the limit per item of 3000 NOK (about €260), so all orders will have VAT added.
2.7 For UK orders, our 3PL partner Meeples BV is registered for paying UK VAT and handles all imports fully, including customs clearance before shipping the order to you. This means we always collect the full VAT for UK orders (the normal limit of £135 does not apply), and your order will effectively be shipped from within UK, no extra cost or VAT added.
2.8 Other countries with VAT collection regulations are Canada, Singapore, Brazil (we do not currently ship to Brazil), South Africa and Switzerland. Right now we do not meet the requirements to collect VAT for orders to these countries. As regulations change and as we meet requirements, this page will be updated.
3. Returns and Refunds
3.1. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of our products. If you have any issues with your order, please contact us at sales@squidmar.com within 30 days of receiving it to initiate a return. Once your return is authorized, we will provide you with instructions for returning the item.
3.2. Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
3.3. Upon receiving the returned item and inspecting its condition, we will process your refund. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable fees and excluding any shipping and handling charges, within 10 days of receiving the returned item.
3.4 We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please initiate a return as described above, and then place a new order for the desired item.
3.5 Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective item.
3.6 If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at sales@squidmar.com . We will provide instructions for returning the item, and we will cover the return shipping costs.

4. Product Use
4.1. Our products' intended use is as merchandise for the Squidmar Miniatures YouTube channel, and our brushes and miniatures are intended for miniature modeling purposes.
4.2. Please follow any instructions or guidelines provided with our products for their safe and effective use.
4.3. All our miniatures are sold unassembled and unpainted.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1. All content on our website, including images and product descriptions, is the property of EmilNyström Media AB and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
5.2. You may not use our content without our express written permission.
5.3. “Squidmar Miniatures” is registered as WIPO trademark nr. 1854049.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. EmilNyström Media AB shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products.
7. Termination
7.1. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, without notice, for any reason.
8. Governing Law
8.1. These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden.
9. Changes
We will update this Terms of Service to reflect changes in our practices. We will list material changes here.
