Severe weather delay

Unfortunately, due to heavy snowfall over the past week and in the coming days, transportation has been impacted in the Netherlands and surrounding countries. Public transportation has largely come to a halt, and many flights have been cancelled.

Our trucking partners have indicated that delays may occur. Additionally, our own handling operations may experience delays due to employees being unable to reach work because of disruptions in public transportation.

According to current forecasts, snowfall is expected to continue until Saturday, 11 January. The snow is expected to begin melting around Monday. After that, no further snowfall is currently anticipated.

In the Netherlands, snowfall of this magnitude is rare. On average, we experience conditions like this only once every five years, and the country’s infrastructure is not designed to handle such extreme winter weather.

We will do everything within our power to continue operations as normally as possible; however, please be aware that delays may occur within our carrier network and our services.
